Solution to Midnight Robbery Clue by Clue

Suspect #2 is guilty. They asked him if he saw Captain Li today and he knew she was an airplane pilot. Most people associate the word Captain with the military or possibly the head of a ship. They wouldn't think of an airline pilot.

Remember that the mugger saw her pilot’s uniform. He even grabbed the gold wings on her jacket that symbolize flying.
